Avery’s practice centers on patent drafting and prosecution, with five years of experience securing patents across a range of technologies, including user interfaces, optics, integrated circuits, and mechanical systems. His expertise spans the entire patent process, from drafting strong applications to navigating prosecution challenges.

Before entering patent law, Avery gained hands-on experience in physics research and technical problem-solving, which gives him a strong foundation for understanding complex inventions. He has worked on projects involving optical systems and semiconductor technologies, deepening his expertise in emerging innovations. Avery is passionate about helping clients protect their ideas with well-crafted patents that align with their business goals.

Outside of his patent practice, Avery loves reading and writing and often finds himself jogging through the city of Houston.
